What we are looking for M.S. Walker has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Call Center Customer Service Representative to work in our call center with a team of 5 colleagues. Responsibilities include handling calls from customers and outside sales staff, processing orders, sales support and various other administrative tasks.

Responsbilities

  • Handle calls from customers, suppliers, and sales staff in Massachusetts, New York and Rhode Island
  • Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research issues and provide solutions or alternatives
  • Respond to consumer, customer, supplier, and sales rep inquiries via phone and/or email in timely manner
  • Input orders from customers and sales staff into the DEC system
  • Note opportunities to upsell products
  • Process supplier invoicing, bill-backs, and bills of lading
  • Provides back-up coverage for the Receptionist
  • Administrative duties to include but not limited to scanning, filing, billing, mailing
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Who you are The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities in order to be successful in this role

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior call center experience
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Organization and attention to detail, a must
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other computer software
  • Willingness to pitch in and assist other departments
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
