ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Assists management with daily facilities operations and ensures that all facility related tasks are properly scheduled, implemented, and completed.
* Manage core facilities:

o Ensure that core facilities are performing correctly.

o Ensure that any repairs / improvements are completed in a timely manner.

o Coordinate with service providers to ensure that equipment calibrations / services are completed within the due date and arrange activity with lab personnel to minimize impact on workflow.

o Coordinate with contractors and temporary workers for facility repairs and improvement.

o Able to perform routine repairs, maintenance, and cleaning tasks where applicable, including but not limited to: replacing lightbulbs, replacing batteries, resolving plumbing issues, cleaning kitchen, etc.

o Manage facilities maintenance logs for onsite services.

o Routine monitoring of Building Management System.

o Identify, report, and track facilities issues/request from site employees.

o Manage and procure inventory for kitchen/building supplies

* Timely communication and efficient implementation of activities
* Independent management of tasks and deliverables and update management on a regular basis
* Handles confidential information in a professional manner
* Supports administration function of the department.
* Assists in record management and database populations.
* Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.
* Regular attendance and punctuality.
* Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
* Occasional weekend and after hours work as needed.
