Our client is a medical device company located in the San Francisco Bay Area. This remote is a home-based position that will require travel to customer sites 60% of the time.This position will cover the Northern California territory.RESPONSIBILITIES:FSE is responsible for maintaining their schedules to prioritize site service visits and phone support to ensure urgent customer needs are met.Install, troubleshoot, and repair instruments at customer sites. Perform timely upgrades, as necessary.Conduct telephone support to customers to provide immediate support. Timely entry of information into CRM is required to ensure customer needs and documented and analyzed for trends. Gather information per company business process, such as Service Reports, Parts Return Tags Instrument Qualification Reports, and expenses.Manage an accurate inventory of personal spare parts for use during customer service visits.QUALIFICATIONS:BS in Life Science or Engineering 4+ years as a Field Service Engineer for medical devices or laboratory equipment
