Job Title: Maintenance AssociateJob Location: Store LocationReports to: Assistant Store ManagerFLSA Status: Hourly Non-Exempt. Positions may be Full or Part-Time; Seasonal or Non-SeasonalJOB SUMMARYDedicated resource within the Store team, responsible for executing facility related programs in compliance with Corporate and regulatory guidelines and ensuring the stores cleaning and maintenance standards are consistently met. Responsible for interior and exterior maintenance, cleanliness and safety. Assess facility conditions and trends for proper planning of tasks and activities.JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Practice sound safety knowledge & best practices for cleaning & maintenance Maintain a clean and organized restrooms & maintenance closet Clean restrooms, break room and store floors; general cleaning and trash removal as required Maintain trash free outside area General light maintenance as required Use floor scrubber May be required to cross train and perform other duties Weekend and evening availability desired.QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of cleaning supplies & equipment Ability to work independently without supervision Ability to access and use the in-store computer, scanning system, and wireless handheld unit Ability to participate in our online applicant and new hire onboarding process remotely Ability to complete computer-based trainingSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES NonePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Good visual acuity and close vision for computer work Ability to lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 30 pounds repetitively Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time Ability to use a ladder and/or pallet jack Ability to use floor scrubber, mopping & cleaning Repetitive wrist movements on keyboard Ability to walk up and down stairs multiple times per day Ability to verbally communicate effectively and professionally with all audiences (in-person or via handheld transceiver) Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
