Position Summary:

Hughes Environmental Engineering is currently searching for an HVAC Service Salesperson responsible for identifying, qualifying and closing new commercial/industrial HVAC Maintenance Agreements. This individual will be responsible to prospect, cold call, set new appointments and close contracts to acquire new customers. The position is based from our Mahwah, NJ corporate office.

Position Responsibilities:

· Prospecting for potential clients and building a continuing list of prospects to call on

· Appointment setting through cold calling, networking, referrals, etc.

· Develop and maintain sales contacts and sales activity in company's CRM

· Identify, qualify, and follow up on business opportunities in the assigned coverage area

· Telephone cold calling daily to gain new appointments

· Schedule new presentations with key decision makers on a weekly basis

· Perform site specific survey of existing mechanical systems and put together equipment lists

· Prepare, present and close maintenance contracts

· Communication with Sales Manager regarding schedule, weekly activity, estimates and proposals

· Meeting established sales goals as defined in our sales representative plan

Required Skills and Experience:

· Valid driver's license

· Self-motivated to achieve annual sales quota and company objectives

· Strong prospecting, networking, cold calling and appointment setting skills a must

· Demonstrated track record of success in outside sales

· Ability to travel within the assigned sales territory as needed

· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in conjunction with other team members

· Strong communication, organization and time management skills

· Must be self-motivated, confident and independent

· Ability to do presentations in front of owners and decision makers

· Computer skills using programs such as outlook, word, excel and CRM program
