Position Overview

The Market Manager has end-to-end responsibility for market strategy, execution, and results in their assigned market, in this case the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction sector. This is a unique position for a savvy and driven mid-career individual who will establish themselves as a subject matter expert, develop strategy, and hold responsibility for go-to-market outcomes (e.g. eCommerce revenue, sales-qualified leads, client retention rate). To qualify, candidates must have a track-record of impressive results in digital marketing in a B2B environment. This is a new position reporting to the Director of Marketing.

Responsibilities

25% Marketing Strategy

At the intersection of our company and the market is the Market Manager's in-depth knowledge of our clients, services, competitors, and industry trends. We believe there is no substitute for spending time directly engaged with the market in order to serve as a subject matter expert and keep the pulse on changes. The Market Manager is the voice for our clients in internal discussions on strategy and leverages those insights to produce marketing plans.

75% Marketing Execution

After obtaining sign-off on a strategic marketing plan, the Market Manager drives execution to deliver results. The Market Manager develops campaigns, executes many of them first-hand using our marketing tools (e.g. HubSpot), and collaborates with our Content Team and Development Team to produce more complex assets. Success in this position means delivering the results outlined in the strategic plan, adjusting quickly to new insights, and solving roadblocks.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven track record of setting and achieving ambitious Marketing growth objectives
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business. MBA or Master's Degree in Marketing preferred
  • 5+ years of Marketing or related background in some or all of the following:
    • Sales/marketing data analysis
    • Marketing research and surveys
    • Advertising / client communications
    • Sales promotion content development
    • Product management
  • Exceptional presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferably experience in a B2B SaaS or Professional Services environment
  • Proficiency with Google G-Suite
  • Expertise working with HubSpot

Location and Hours

Open to a remote position for candidates located anywhere in the US except for New York or California, with travel required as necessary to meet business objectives. Local candidates near or willing to relocate to our Lancaster, PA headquarters are preferred.
