Oversee the development and implementation of our innovative solutions, as well as results for construction business (BAS, Security, Fire and Mechanical) in the greater Raleigh marketplace. The successful candidate will be a high performing, highly organized business professional responsible for leading a team of operations professionals serving Central North Carolina. The primary focus of this role is the development of the Buildings Construction Team, empowering and supporting our operations professionals in the delivery of our solutions and to capture greater market share and help build the whole of the business the Carolinas. The successful candidate will embrace a servant leader and consultative execution approach as we position to be "the building professionals" and the trusted adviser to our customers and the market. This position requires active involvement in the building new buildings customer chain (Developers, General Contractors, Mechanical and Electrical Contractors, MEP and security systems consultants, etc.), through direct contact and professional organizations and networking within the communities throughout NC. The successful candidate will lead by example and involve themselves, and the team, in the local communities (business development) to build and develop relationships that will benefit the entire branch. The successful candidate will, additionally, serve as member of the North Carolina Senior Leadership Team and will be an active participant in the development and implementation of business strategies across all aspects of the business. Duties include but not limited to:Strategy development with local Senior Leadership Team, Operations Team and Sales Team to capture and retain market shareMentoring a diverse team of Operations Professionals - Technicians, Engineers, Construction Managers and Project Managers to ensure we are delivering the highest value to our customersReviewing proposals and associated costs to ensure accuracy and ability of the Operations team to deliver our solutionsNetworking internally and externallyForecasting revenue as needed for business planningBudgeting operational costs for departmentReporting on historical revenue data & trendsQualifications: Strong interpersonal skill including the ability to manage in highly charged situations with customers, teammates, team members, peers and contemporaries.Strong working knowledge of building systems (emphasis on BAS, Security, Fire and/or Mechanical)Strong Project Management skillsStrong business acumen, strategic and critical thinking skillsStrong communication skills - verbal and writtenPeople management experience (7-10 years combined)Strong collaborative skills, internal and externalRequirements: Field/customer Face to Face time 45%+After hours networkingSignificant time commitment Primary responsibility for the leadership of our Project Delivery Team.
