This individual functions as the point person for the project and steers the project forward. Successful candidates will be able to share their passion for and dedication to getting the job done.Core Responsibilities:Supervise all activities related to contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, and scheduleHave thorough knowledge of the company's contracts and understanding of all parties involvedSecure all required permits and verify insurance coverage for subcontractorsSchedule and facilitate all project meetings required to successfully coordinate work activitySupervise and manage project team membersHave thorough knowledge of all major project issues and priorities; prepare and submit monthly job status reportsProvide general administrative and technical leadership for the project; Maintain all project records and monitor correspondenceDevelop and maintain positive working relationships with counterparts at owner and engineering firmsParticipate in proposals and presentationsRequired Qualifications:Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field5-7 years construction experience requiredSkilled at negotiating and developing relationships with owners and subcontractorsDemonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team; minimum 2 years supervisory experiencePreferred Qualifications:Graduate degree in engineering or businessWorking for a general contractor on large scale construction is highly preferredDBIA and LEED AccreditationExperience managing projects successfully from start to finishStrong work ethic and ability to work in a fast paced environmentBenefits:Health, Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance401k & Company Contribution PlanVacation & Sick Leave, as well as paid HolidaysTuition Assistance ProgramOther Duties:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
