These complex builds require creative solutions and a best-in-class team. As the Electrical Construction Contractor, with an office team of a dozen or more and a peak workforce of over 300, this is a great opportunity to add value while you grow your career.This exciting opportunity is best suited to a candidate who is open to both long and short-term travel as we embark on exciting new projects across America. These are large Data Center (or related) projects. UNLIMITED growth potential for the right individual with the opportunity to be involved in a new Mega Project start-up.Company-paid relocation or per diem may be provided if eligible.Position Summary: Project Managers are responsible for managing Cupertino Electric Inc.'s projects in line with CEI's goals, financial parameters, and within the project's timeline and specification with the purpose of optimizing revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. PMs are responsible for developing the project execution plan. Project Managers are expected to continuously manage and review progress to goals and project plans - Identify gaps to plans and initiate recovery action plans.Essential Functions:Maintain effective relationships with customer and partnersProvide a working real-time example, and champion of CEI's Commitment to SafetyManage subcontractorsEstablish a project execution plan and execute/manage the staff to those specsAction plan to provide solutions for any problemsProvide and monitor Risk Assessment PlanStay connected to the project from beginning to endCollaborate with CEI groups to bid & executeWork with Production/CIG/Customer to meet project plan objectivesCoordinate with PurchasingMaintain Business Information System, and Document ControlUse Information System to track project and pipeline status - focus on key problemsAssist in training/development of new hires assigned to support projectsContinue education and learning for career advancementMinimum Requirements:BS/BA degree preferred although not required.8 or more years of large complex construction project management experience to include working on projects with budgets over 20 million dollars, including experience with the electrical tradePrefer Data Center or similar mission-critical experienceProfessional written and oral communication skills. Estimating experience preferredPreference for candidates with knowledge of MS Projects.
