Job Duties & Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, budget, and supervise construction projects from start to finish, coordinating with tradesmen, subcontractors, city inspectors, designers, and property owners.Direct, supervise, and actively work with crews performing general construction work (demolition, light carpentry, drywall repair, painting, etc.), emergency board up, containment, and water & mold remediation.Coordinate delivery of labor, materials, and equipment to/from job site.Troubleshoot issues that arise on the job and perform common construction repairs.Serve as the main point of contact for job-site operations. Monitor and report job progress.Serve as a go-between with laborers and managers.Assign duties within work crews according to skill set.Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with safe operating procedures.Deliver & set up drying & remediation equipment, maintain equipment use & drying logs, remove and clean/maintain equipment post-use.Requirements: Minimum 5-10 years work experience in new construction on residential custom home projects.Broad, general-level knowledge of local construction methods and codes.Proficient knowledge of general construction skills (demolition, light carpentry, drywall repair, painting, etc.).Good organizational and communication skills (fluently speak & write English).On-call, after hours, and weekend availability, as needed.Physically able to plan and manage on-site construction and water and mold remediation projects.Good driving record.Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and be able to pass a background check and drug screening.Leadership, take charge personality.Energetic, reliable, and responsible.Proactive with strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.Works well with minimal supervision.Project ownership/completion oriented.Preferred: Bilingual (Spanish).Catastrophe/emergency services knowledge, experience, certification.Mold remediation experience and certification.Insurance-related construction experience.Xactimate estimating software familiarity.Compensation: Full-time, salaried position.Commensurate with experience and skills.Year-round employment.Vehicle allowance provided.
