Project Manager - HUD Environmental ServicesAEI Consultants has an opportunity available for a full-time Environmental Project Manager to perform various environmental due diligence projects within our HUD Services division. Responsibilities include:Environmental reviewsState and federal regulatory program file reviewsField investigationsBasic understanding of commercial real estate lending and financePerformance of environmental due diligence projectsWe are seeking a professional, dedicated, enthusiastic addition to a collaborative office environment with the following experience, skills and attributes:Experience performing environmental due diligence projects, such as Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)Experience with the Related Federal Laws and Authorities as described under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1969, including but not limited to Historic Preservation, Floodplain Management, Wetlands Protection, and Noise Abatement, etc.Experience with completing Part 50 and Part 58 Environmental Review Records for local, state and federal agenciesExtensive knowledge and experience in assessing various property types (including but not limited to gas stations, dry cleaners, printing facilities, industrial and manufacturing sites, and automotive repair and body shops)Experience in evaluating all types of environmental regulatory cases, such as LUST, State Hazardous Wastes, CERCLIS, and NPL sitesExperience with HEROS (HUD Environmental Review Online System)Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering or geology-related scienceExcellent writing skills requiredBe extremely organized and have great time management and multi-tasking skillsPersonable and able to communicate with people at all levelsWillingness to travel if necessaryMust be a self-starter, resourceful, and have the ability to work productively on multiple projects at a time under strict deadlines with guidance from senior staffState regulatory knowledgeExperience with Phase II Subsurface Investigations and/or Remediation Work is a plusProficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Corel DRAW a plusExperience with managing various vendors and subcontractorsBidding and project cost estimationCurrent OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training certification, asbestos inspector, and/or lead-based paint certification preferredAEI Consultants is an employee-ownedinternational consulting firmthat provides comprehensive services to commercial lenders, property owners, managers, tenants, and developers, industries, institutions,government agencies, and insurers, including many Fortune 500 companies.
