Position Summary

The Sales Operations Manager will play a critical role in helping to scale our day-to-day sales operations for national sponsorship. They support the Director, Sales Operations in achieving annual revenue targets, super-serving partners and producers, and ensuring the sponsorship business operations run smoothly. On a daily basis, they serve as a bridge between the PRX ad-ops team, our external sales partners and show producers.

The Sales Operations Manager has excellent communication skills and is able to navigate a large range of scenarios with grace and humor. They should be able to work collaboratively while also able to seamlessly manage a variety of tasks independently. They never stray from their commitment to delivering superior customer service and proactive communication with our partners and internal stakeholders.

Definition of Success

* Consistently meeting deadlines and seamlessly managing all aspects of sales operations
* Support the Director in strengthening PRXs relationships with partners and producers

Responsibilities

* Follows workflows and processes to address our need to scale in line with recent and planned future growth
* Problem-solves for any sales operational issues quickly and efficiently
* Works between internal and external partners on post-sales activity to ensure timely delivery sponsorship commitments and cross-functional coordination
* Maintains a dashboard for the department to monitor progress toward individual show revenue goals
* Ensures sales team is fully trained on each program and is aware of new opportunities
* Acts as a liaison for the sales team to communicate critical information between producer, marketing, and advertising operations to ensure launch plans are communicated to support the sales process and, importantly,
* Manages and maintains a database of advertiser preferences for all podcast shows on the network
* Create internal media plans to promote new podcasts across the PRX portfolio
* Assists in creating a great early onboarding experience in relation to sponsorship sales
* Stays informed of new opportunities with shows and partners and communicates to the sales team quickly and efficiently
* Builds rapport with producers, partners and stakeholders and provides excellent customer service
* Assists in the production of quarterly revenue reports to producers and partners
* Supports producers with copywriting sponsor scripts
* Schedules and manages the execution and analysis of listener surveys
* Proactively takes ownership on sales operations projects and seeks to improve current processes and systems
* Supports the Director in managing producer relationships
* Other tasks and projects as assigned by the Director

* Ability to learn new systems quickly
* Proficient in Google tools, particularly Google Docs and Google Sheets
* Proficient in Salesforce or other CRM systems

Education & Experience

* One to three years of experience in sales, customer service, or marketing with a strong preference for experience in media or advertising
