Scottsdale based Construction company with national and international presence is looking immediately to fill a key Sr. Accountant role, due to a vacated position after family leave. This company continues to grow and sign to large contracts that projects strong growth for the next 5+ years.

Key attributes and skills:

· Highly competent in construction accounting, corporate consolidations and GAAP

· Organization skills are key with meeting deadlines, working as a team and seamless transfer of information

· Demonstrate leadership qualities in supervising AP process and be an active participant in a continuous learning environment

· Excellent communication skills to participate in cost meetings, planning, raising flags of potential issues and responding timely in follow-up of open items

· Prepare journal entries, general ledgers and consolidations, month-end closing assistance, cost and accruals

Required:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or related degree
• CPA or MBA preferred
• Construction cost-accounting experience
