SQN Associates is seeking a Senior Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will collaborate with construction management professionals to create proposals and presentations, assist with creative/technical writing, produce and update marketing collateral, perform research, and maintain marketing databases to meet firm-wide goals.


  • 5+ years of experience in proposal management for the architecture/engineering/construction industry
  • Advanced graphics sensibility with strength in written and visual storytelling to support messaging around people, projects, and construction management services
  • Excels in managing multiple pursuits, tasks, and proposal deadlines concurrently
  • College degree preferred (ideally English, liberal arts, business, marketing, or an industry-related field)

Required Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
  • Work with limited oversight, coordinating and executing all proposal production elements
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word / Outlook / Excel / PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Experience with Deltek CRM a plus


  • Writes and edits proposals, government forms, and similar documents for both internal and external distribution
  • Identifies, selects, and tracks potential client solicitations and similar inquiries that are appropriate to company offerings
  • In response to formal and informal client solicitations, leads proposal production establishing the compliance matrix and development schedule
  • Collects and organizes proposal-related information, including project descriptions, resumes, proposal language, and more
  • Coordinates and organizes large amounts of technical information, including photography, subconsultant data, and marketing materials like brochures
  • Collaborates with senior management to develop effective strategies for identifying and pursuing opportunities
  • Manage thematic discussions for pursuit early planning and pre-positioning efforts
  • Maintains the company database of client, personnel, and project information
  • Assists with website updates and social media as needed
  • Develops and expands current company branding
  • Manages multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Works overtime as needed
  • Handles other tasks and projects as assigned
