Daily rounds of facility equipment to ensure systems are working as designed.Inspect, troubleshoot and repair facility equipment.Oversee contractor management.How will you get here?EducationHigh school diploma requiredTechnical school preferredExperienceMinimum of 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance as an HVAC or Electrician in industrial/commercial and or lab/R environments.Technical schools will count as time worked in the HVAC and electrical fields.Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesDemonstrated technical ability in the repair and maintenance of industrial facility equipment.Ability to consult manuals read and interpret blueprints and schematics.Basic proficiency in facility CMMS systems, MS Office Suite specially Outlook, Excel, Work and PowerPoint.Must be familiar with basic HVAC and electrical codes.Displays positive attitudes and practices good work ethics.At Thermo Fisher Scientific, each one of our 70,000 extraordinary minds has a unique story to tell.
