The Staff Facilities Engineer if responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing facilities. Must be comfortable developing the necessary documentation for the site, i.e. preventative maintenance plans, records, and spares parts. Job Description: Routine maintenance of fabrication facility to ensure its smooth operation. Develop procedure where applicable to ensure business continuity and disaster recovery planning. Individual will own the maintenance and operation of the site including ISO Class 7 and Class 8 cleanrooms. Will work collaboratively with Workplace Management to ensure site safety and compliance. Will serve as the subject matter expert for site facilities operations including but not limited to HVAC, Acid Waste System, Electrical, CDA, Nitrogen. Individual Responsibilities: Ordering of consumables and arrangement for regulation-compliant disposal of waste Facility modification to accommodate new equipment. Management of key facilities and environmental maintenance vendors including cost negotiation, and time management. Will coordinate with engineering and manufacturing personnel to ensure timely work to minimize production downtime. Will write and execute facilities validation, and aid in participation of equipment qualifications. Qualifications. Required: Experience with ISO class 7 and class 8 clean rooms required. Verifiable track record of dependability. A "get things done" attitude. Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment. Supervisory Responsibilities: Individual will be responsible for managing key vendors for maintenance and compliance of the facility including but not limited to Hazardous Waste, Calibration, HVAC, and Environmental Controls. Education / Experience: Associates degree, vocational training, or equivalent experience. At least 4 years of experience in direct, hands-on facility management. Preferred: Bachelor of Science in technical degree preferred. Exposure to MEMS fabrication facilities and equipment a plus. Fork lift certification preferred.
