What do you need to know?
You must know what developers need to do their job and want to make their lives easy (ideally, you have been one). Financial services experience is a bonus.

Position Requirements:

Minimum qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related and a minimum of 8 years equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience building, deploying, and running messaging, pub/sub, or streaming services (Kafka, RabbitMQ, AMPS, IBM MQ)
  • Experience writing software in one or more languages such as Java, C#, Python, Go and/or JavaScript.
  • Technical product management including building roadmaps, stakeholder management, estimation, and planning in an agile environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for engineering excellence

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes
  • Expert public cloud technologies - Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure
  • Experience in financial services industry
  • Experience with API development and management
  • Advocate of DevOps and automation
  • Experience with financial market analysis software like Beacon
