Technical Support Specialist

Western Nebraska Community College is currently accepting applications for the position of Technical Support Specialist.

Responsibilities:

Assist the institution's delivery and promotion of the use of information technologies, provide computer related assistance to students, staff, and faculty; maintain computer hardware and software; maintain and provide level 1 support to audio/video systems in classrooms, meeting rooms, and online meetings and classes; and perform a variety of technical tasks relative to the area of assignment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred. Two years of increasingly responsible experience in computer set-up, maintenance, and troubleshoot­ing including experience working with individuals or small groups in a teaching capacity. Possession of, or the ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record that does not exclude the driver from coverage under WNCC's vehicle insurance.

Salary:
Commensurate.
