If so, we want to speak with you!Responsibilities:Must have the confidence to stop any unsafe action and provide clear communication to the team on recommended actions to resolve issues.Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment from more advanced technicians. Candidate must have a strong work ethic and have a safety and quality focused attitude to provide excellent service to our customers and teammates both in North America and abroad.Effectively gather information to complete service reports as well as time and material tracking.Possess strong critical thinking skills to be able to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair problems in the mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical systems of the wind turbine generators. This includes routinely working on converter systems and variable pitch systems.Routinely assist in the assembly and erection of wind energy converters.Safely test electrical components of wind systems with devices such as voltage testers, multimeters, oscilloscopes, infrared testers, or fiber optic equipment.Must develop skills to demonstrate competence in safe electric work including LOTO.Physical Requirements:Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather, climb ladders without assistance, and work at heights greater than 80 meters (250 feet).Ability to move and manipulate up to 45 kg (100 pounds).Qualifications:Relocation to North Kingstown, RI required after 30 days1 year of direct wind turbine operations and maintenance experience on MW series platforms or possess a degree or certificate from a valid Wind Technician or Renewable Energy program required.Willingness to travel and on short notice based on Company and customer's needs. Required travel to locations where wind generation facilities are being constructed, where maintenance is to be performed and to turbines in need of emergency repair.
